School Information

Thaai Tamil School was started in the year 2011 on the Chithrai thirunaal festival day i.e. 14th April 2011. We started with 2 students in Mount Ommaney Library hall. Now, we have 150 students enrolled in 3 campuses. 

We teach tamil language as per the LOTE curriculam suggested by Queenland Education.

We are members of Ethnic Schools Association Queensland (ESAQ). And currently one of our school parent volunteer A.S.Rengenathan is in the Executive commitee of ESAQ.

We conduct classes at following 3 locations:

1. Sunnybank State High School,
Cnr Boorman & Turton streets, Sunnybank
